QUICK! I Need a Parchute

My mother, the crazy lucky lady she is, happened to win these free tickets to the radio station 106.5's Christmas concert-y thing. It was at the San Jose Civic, and I brought my fabulously fabulous half-sister Olivia. We pretty much knew only Matt Nathanson. He played last. And really should consider being a stand up comedian. He is so frosted flakingly hilariously hysterical. And this girl named Yuna opened and she was super good and the vocals were like whoaaaaa (listen to this and this).
Fitz and the Tantrums performed too and they were also pretty cool. Honestly, 'Out of my League' is the only song of theirs I knew, but I liked their stuff ( 'Fools Gold' was my favorite).
But, lets be honest with ourselves, Parachute was so cool. I wan't familiar with their stuff at all but then they played 'She is Love' and I was like 'ohhhh' and then I fell in love. Olivia and I and maybe every other female in the room was fawning. Especially those two extremely drunk middle-aged ladies in our row who kept whooping and bouncing and screaming and and telling Will she'll have his babies. Yeah.   It happened. And there was only like 400 people there so he heard her. Anyways, I LOVE these acoustic versions, 'Drive You Home', 'Can't Help', and 'Something to Believe in'.
AND NOW I MUST GO SEE THEM AND WALK OFF THE EARTH IN SAN FRANCISCO IN FEBRUARY.
 ITS HAPPENING.
Your Fangirl,
Claire
