Christmas presents

The story of Claire and Aly's present making and buying of Christmas 2013:
"Hey, we should do joint Christmas presents this year!" said Claire.

"Yeah! totes! What do you want to do?" Aly replied.

"HOMEMADE TWIX BARS!"

"ERMAHGERD YES."

So, as the time for Chirstmas presents came closer, Aly and Claire got together at Claire's house and started making homemade twix bars (which were freaking delicious by the way) and sugar cookies shaped like demented christmas trees, gingerbread men, and stars. OH AND A BLOB. After melting the caramel and letting it set on the cookie things for the twix bars, it was time for the messiest (and most fun) part.

"Do you want to hold the bars while I pour chocolate over them or do you want to pour the chocolate?" asked Claire.

"Um, I'll hold them." Aly replied.

Bad choice, Aly. And an even worse choice for Claire.

So we started pouring the chocolate over each one and finally we were finished. My hands were covered in chocolate. There was not the tiniest bit of skin showing. I looked at my hands... then I looked at Claire, who was almost completely free of chocolate, and charged. We ran around the house chasing each other with chocolate for like 5 minutes. I got some on her leg and she got some on my face. My mascara was replaced with melted chocolate.

 

Moral of the story: don't cover Aly's hands in something messy and expect not to get chased by her.
