Okay, let's start with talking about mine and Claire's most recent boy band obsession. The Vamps. They are British (like all great boy bands should be.) Ages 17, 17, 18, and 19. And the song that led to Claire discovering them: "Can We Dance" "Yes, The Vamps, we can dance. I would very much love that." Now don't go looking for this amazeballs song on iTunes or whatever your go to music buying website is because it won't be there. It's sad, isn't it? Now, I bet you're wondering why it won't be there. It won't be there because the song is not even out in the UK yet. And now, I bet you're wondering how we even listened to the song. YouTube, my friends. YouTube. So search it up and enjoy the eye candy, as well as the ear candy.
Hmm... what shall we talk about next? Ah! I know. Homecoming. It is coming up, my friends. We have a month to prepare for this occasion. And I'll tell you what, even though I'm not gonna get asked, I am looking forward to this event. I have a feeling it's gonna be pretty spectacularly fun. Fancy dresses, pretty makeup, gorgeous hair, heels. The works. Claire is most likely going to do my makeup and hair. She is going to be practicing on me this whole month. Our first practice look session was today after school. I'd say it went pretty well. She'll probably practice on me again Saturday.
Okay, if by now you can't tell that I'm doing a rainbow, you're color blind. Just wanted to put that out there. This also means that this post is gonna be pretty long because I have 4 more colors to go after this one. So if you don't want to read my random ranting, leave and watch this video. But if you do, I love you! and you should watch the video anyway because it's amazing. :D Okay so basically this paragraph was explaining how long this post was gonna be because of my whole rainbow thing. Wouldn't that bee awkward if for some reason the colors didn't show up and everything was just black?... That better not happen. Okay, time to move on.
For this paragraph, let's talk about cheer stuff. That's right, "The Cheerleader" from The Cheerleader and The Stage Hipster, is going to talk about cheerleading. Get ready, people. Here we go! So our first competition is coming up. It's in Santa Cruz. We only have 6 practices left to get ready for this competition. I'm hoping this will go well. The routine is gonna look pretty sick if we can hit everything. Of course we will though. The choreography is really fun. And now, since I have nothing else to say about competition, here is a link to our routine from the first rally.
Ugh, I didn't realize how much typing and thinking this would actually be. whatever next topic: 7th grade drama. Now this is a funny topic because I have direct access to this topic (my brother.) And let me just say, it is hilarious. I get my information from facebook and instagram and my brother of course. There is a lot of "who likes who" and "who is dating who" drama. A lot more than you would think. Or more than what I thought anyway. I pretty much laugh histerically when I see their little sevie problems. Now, I can't say anything directly because I don't want to make all of their problems available for everyone to see, because that's just mean. But, if you get the chance, take a look at some of their posts, or better yet, befriend some of them and get the hilarious details from the source itself.
Okay, let's talk about a book. This book is called "The Book of Lost Things." It's by John Connolly. It is probably one of my favorite books ever. It's the only book that I've ever read more than once (besides picture books, because let's face it: those are awesome.) Anyway, before you go get the book and start reading it, expecting it to be normal, let me stop you. This book is actually kind of a weird book and the first time I read it (4th grade), I had kind of a hard time understanding it. Even after reading it 4 times, it's still interesting to me. Basically, the book is about this boy who loses his mother and finds himself in this "other world" full of weird and scary creatures. It's a lot more interesting than it sounds.
This paragraph might not have the best content because I have no idea what to write about, but it will definitely be the prettiest because of the color. I'm just going to write random stuff. A few days ago, one of my teachers had a picture of a desert with saguaro cacti in a powerpoint and I felt really, really homesick for the rest of that day. I'm listening to When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars. There is a picture that my brother drew taped to my ceiling. I'm chewing Hubba Bubba gum right now. I miss playing soccer. A lot. Who wants to play soccer with me? Lol okay guys, sorry for this really long post. I thought it would be really fun to do each paragraph a different color. But really, I started writing this 4 hours ago.
Until next time,
Aly <3
