1. We had our first read-through for DNGG (Do Not Go Gentle). It was really cool. And the play itself was so cool, and very deep. I'm playing the rebellious granddaughter, who *SEMI-SPOILER ALERT* has crazy hair. I'm not going to totally spoil it. But Kelly has mayyybe bright purple hair. And it mighhht be short and spiky. I'm just spit-balling here. But if you really want to know save the first week of November to see the show!
2. For my voice lesson this week, I'm doing this song by Joe Iconis called 'Blue Hair'. It's catchy and hilarious ad it totally relates to Kelly (my play character). Click here to watch the fab Krysta Rodriguez sing it.
AND SPEAKING OF PROMOTING THINGS
3. I have discovered a new band. A new amazing band. A new wonderful super fantastic coolness remarkable band. (Blue Hair reference, haha). You might have heard of them. They're called The Vamps and they are laewgf.ergfs,rh,vgsgfj GREAT. And all four of them are very hot. AND BRITISH. Here's a video to their first single Can We Dance:
4. Last night, Thursday, I had the opportunity to sing at our youth group! It was so much fun and such a good experience and now I get to impress people by telling them I'm in a band #JesusSongsFTW
So, if you have nothing to do next Thursday night at 7, come to Fuel! Contact me or Aly for info if you want it!
5. Tonight I shall go to the Fun. concert with my blonde friends!! More on how this goes tomorrow,
6. MY BROTHER IS LEAVING FOR UNIVERSITY IN LESS THAN FOUR HOURS!!! At four (which is soon, depending on when you read this), we shall be dropping him off at the airport, so him, my dad, and granddad can take him to Edinburgh, Scotland. Scotland. Yes, you read that right. My brother is going halfway across the world to study psychology at the University of Edinburgh. This is how I explain Maxie to most people: he is a kid who at 15 years old knew how to do his own taxes, but not how to do the laundry. We shall see how college goes for him, haha. But I'm totally going to miss him. And then I shall start my life of only-child solitude.
Stuck in San Jose,
Claire
