Fat Day

So, today is Thanksgiving!! Happy thanksgiving everyone! I love thanksgiving way too much. I love seeing all my family and going up to Healdsburg and eating a million Grammy rolls and going crazy during black Friday and taking cousin trips to powells and trying to hill slide.
And now, an impromptu list of things I'm thankful for:
My family, my friends, apple cider, fuzzy socks, musical theater, rain, electricity, warm beds, cozy sweaters, Tobi, being able to go to school, lemon cakes, jelly beans, Wikipedia, friends who will teepee houses with you, friends who will put up with your craziness, candles, amazing novels, twinkle lights, Jesus, the beach, Mean Girls, the house I live in, pretty dresses, clean socks, chipotle, airports, kitty ears, scissors, go carting, vacations, pasta, English breakfast tea, nineties movies, air conditioning.

Obviously I wrote that three days ago. Oops. But it was an extremely fun Thanksgiving. Gracie got me hooked on Draw Something. And my food baby is happily hiked out by now (impromptu 5.5 mile hike today, haha). And as a reflection if all this thankfulness (and all the long-winded instagram posts), I just wanted to stipulate about how thankful I am to have this life. I don't want to take for granted any of it, and I love you all (even you online stalkers, lol, jk). Gushy thoughts aside, I was finally forced into watching 'The Sound of Music' for the very first time today. And I do have to say, it was pretty amazing. And intense. I totally wanted to cry at the end (FROSTED FLAKING ROLFE MESSING LIFE UP). So, if you haven't watched it, free up three hours of your time to do so. Be thankful for sixties movie musicals. Go cinema.

Going to write nuey's birthday post now,
a very thankful Claire
