Purple Hair

  Now that my show is over, I finally have time to blog (and catch up on KUWK)! YAY! The show went great, all four of our performances went pretty flawlessly, and we sold out the second weekend!
  But from this whole production/experience, I won't just be taking away new friends/memories. hehehe. Anyways, people may have noticed around school/ on instagram that for the past three/four weeks I've had PURPLE HAIR. Okay, fine, it's more of a magenta, but whatever, same color family.

  My character in our fall play, Kelly, was a bit of a rebel child. And it is scripted that she has short, spiky, purple hair. To be honest, there was NO WAY I'd do the short, spiky part. Do you know how long it takes for my hair to grow?! I was pretty much bald until I was four.
 But I was so willing to dye my hair completely purple. I've done a lot of crazy things with my hair before, and dyeing it purple would top that list. So, after much persistence on my part, our director let me dye it. So that same day, I bleached my hair, then dyed it purple. And I did do it myself so it was splotchy and I stained a good half of my head purple. But it was awesome. And so worth it.
 So now I have faded magenta hair. And I have totally gotten used to it. It's fun. It's me. Sometimes, when I'm out, I get weird stares from people.
And then I remember I have abnormal colored hair.
People must think I'm weird.
Whatever.
Those boring brunettes thinking they're better than me.
