the Cheerleader and the Stage Hipster

The two of us are terrible at posting on our own individual blogs, so we decided to try a joint blog, documenting our freshman year of high school.

Claire (the Stage Hipster, theatre geek, etc.)
I've been performing in musicals since the third grade, after I got over major, MAJOR stage fright. At my elementary school I was in Alice in Wonderland Jr., Seussical Jr., and Honk Jr. In the sixth grade my middle school did Dear Edwina Jr., and then this year, my eighth grade year I finally started performing with this theater company, Children's Musical Theater in San Jose, in Godspell and Aladdin Jr. This summer I just finished 13, with Los Gatos Youth Theater, which was AMAZING. So I've done a few shows, but don't get me wrong, I'm still completely obsessed. Don't you fret haha. But in my free time, I love to read, go on ropes courses, experiment with film photography, dance, and quote Mean Girls. So. Yeah.

                   Aly (Cheerleader)
I was born in Arizona and lived there for the first 12 years of my life. I started cheerleading when I was 8 years old. I cheered for 4 years before I moved to Cali. After living here for 2 years without cheerleading in my life (which was horrible) I tried out for the high school cheer team. I made the team and now my life is complete again! I'm not just a cheerleader, though. I started playing soccer when I was 3 and that was my first love, and it was everything to me. Now, cheer is a bit more of a priority to me. I also love lipgloss, animals (I want to be a vet), glitter, bows, and watching Pitch Perfect every chance I get. OH! And quoting Mean Girls with Claire. One time, we spent an hour texting Mean Girls quotes to each other. The End.

                Till next time!
